WHO ARE WE?
We Travel Rwanda is a small, woman-owned business based in Kigali, offering custom-made safari packages and tours throughout Rwanda.
STORY OF THE FOUNDER
Meet founder and director M. Janviere Tuyishimire, who decided to create jobs for herself and for others by creating We Travel Rwanda.
I am a young woman from Musanze who desires to show visitors from all around the world the wonders of my country. I would love to show you the magnificent sights, such as the volcanoes, villages, National Parks, flora and fauna, as well as the ordinary things that make up the daily life of Rwandans.
We Travel Rwanda stands out from some other travel agencies because we want to match you, our guests, with experiences and people in areas that particularly interest you. We want you to become involved in local culture in whichever way you find enjoyable and according to your personal interests, whether it is through cuisine, sports, local agriculture, village life, the healthcare system, nightlife, crafts, or another activity. Our mission is to provide tourists with some understanding of the real lives of Rwandans.
I really like people and my good energy makes things happen! I am closely familiar with tourism protocol, and know how to work with governmental institutions in charge of tourism.
Come and let us make you feel like Rwanda is your second home!
Our vision is to make Rwanda the most desirable and the most memorable destination in Africa
Our mission is to connect the world with the beautiful nature wildlife and culture of Rwanda
Our goal is to make every travel a memory to cherish
Our objectives are
Poverty alleviation through job creation in youth and women
Improving lives of local community living near Rwandan attractions by involving them in community based tourism activities (CBT) and culture promotion and share CBT income with them
To help visitors to explore Rwanda , and have the best experience they expect for.
To increase number of international visitors and their staying period by creating more tourism products beyond national park
To engage the world to travel to Rwanda
I began this career in 2010, and after working for many firms and mastering various tour-guiding techniques, I made the decision to start We Travel Rwanda.
