ITINERARY
Day 1:
Arrival and Kigali city tour
On arrival at the airport, our guide will meet you and
transfer to your hotel for overnight Stay. Depending on arrival time, you can
enjoy the Kigali city tour with selected sights like Kigali genocide memorial,
Kandt museum, and handcraft markets.

Day 2:
Game drive in Akagera National Park
At 5:00 am, after a breakfast, meet with our safari guide and
drive 2.5h to the southern gates of Akagera National park. After briefing at the park reception, you’ll start
game drive exploring Akagera National Park in search of Elephants, Hippos, and
Buffaloes and recently re-introduced lions and Rhinos. This experience will last for 7 hours from the
south to the northern part of the park. After, you will drive back to Kigali
for the overnight stay.

Day 3:
Transfer to the breath-taking Nyungwe national park
This morning we depart for Nyungwe forest having lunch
en-route in Huye formerly known as Butare. The journey takes you through the
winding roads of Rwanda and beautiful scenery of the countryside. We will
explore the ethnographic museum learning about the Rwandan history and culture.
We proceed to Nyungwe forest that evening arriving later in that evening.

Day 4: Kamiranzovu waterfalls and canopy walkway
In the morning after breakfast, leave the hotel head to
gisakura park office for briefing after, we will start our moderately difficult
hike about 8km for 4hours around hike. The
trail start in tea plantations and riverine forest and take you down the valley
to spectacular Kamiranzovu waterfalls. Interestingly, this waterfall comes in
two major parts the lower section which lies on huge rocks with spectacular
spot for you to take incredible photographs and the other section that lies in
front of it. The lower part drops at 50 meters making a permanent mist and the
second section makes up a pool of water that reflects the green vegetation.
After you will hike back to the Hotel for lunch and drive to
Uwinka overlook for a treetop canopy walkway experience.

Day 5: Excursion
on Lake kivu in Karongi
After breakfast, you will check out at the Hotel and drive
3hours to karongi, check in at the Hotel in Karongi, have lunch then after, you will have a relaxing boat trip on lake Kivu and
island hiking .later return at the Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6:
Transfer from Karongi to the Volcanoes National park
After breakfast, meet our drive guide,check out at the hotel and drive 4 hours to Musanze ,
the city at the base of volcanoes national park and Home to the endangered
mountain gorillas .Arriving in Musanze you will check in at your hotel and have
lunch. Later in afternoon you will have culture tour in kinigi , musanze.

Day 7:
Mount Bisoke Hike
Very Early in the Morning at 6h30 am the Driver Guide will
pick you up from your hotel in Musanze and Drive to the volcanoes National park
headquarters in Kinigi-Musanze.
Arriving at Park headquarters,
at 7:00 am, you will receive Briefing about hiking from park ranger and will
drive to the starting point of the hike reaching at the starting point; you
will start Mount Bisoke hiking adventure along with the park guides and
porters. The round hike takes around 6 hours.
After reaching the peak at 3711m above sea level, check out
the beautiful views and take as many photos as possible then you will come back
to the start point where you will meet the Driver guide. Head back to Kigali,
or your hotel

Day 8: A
day in a Rwandan family
In the morning, our
drive give will pick you at the hotel
and drive you to the share of Ruhondo lake for a boat trip heading to the local
family place around Ruhondo lake.
On your arrival you will be warmly welcomed by this local
family in their daily life, you will be able to join them on their daily
activities,, including Rwanda local food
meal preparation and testing ,working in the field, fishing etc
depending of their daily schedule. After visiting the family you will have a
lunch and a boat trip back to lake shore for a short visit to Burera lake then
drive back to Musanze for overnight stay
Day 9:
Transfer from Musanze to Kigali
Today you have a lazy morning. After a late breakfast, we
leave for Kigali for you relax to catch your flight later that evening or
return to your hotel. Bid your good byes to the land of a thousand hills. Bye to
the land of a thousand hills.
